MEET THE AUTHOR

Born and raised in Kangaroo Island, one of South Australia’s biggest sheep regions, Tim grew up around sheep yards and sheds, learning from his parents, who are specialist sheep vets, and his father Greg Johnsson, who is a sheep breeding consultant with over 40 years of experience.

Working with the top 5% of stud and commercial breeders in Australia over the past decade, Tim has developed a deep understanding of the sheep industry and the unique challenges Australian sheep farmers face. He combined his love for sheep with his skills in technology and engineering, and teamed up with his father to create BreedELITE.

Complimenting his expertise and passion for the sheep industry, Tim boasts a strong background in mechanical engineering and finance, studying both at University before realising his passion for business and graduating with a Bachelor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
